CD Duplication - 1000 or less

Duplication - is used for short runs (quantities under 1000) and refers to the burning or recording of blank media using CD-ROM drives. Depending on the quantity you need and packaging choice, we can generally turn-around a duplication project in as little as a few days.

Replication - is a manufacturing process in which the discs are stamped out from a mold — a far more cost-efficient method if you need more than 1000 copies. Replication requires 8-12 business days depending on the type of packaging.

Whether duplicated or replicated, disc quality are identical. However, there is a difference in printing options. With duplication (1000 or less) your art is inkjet directly onto discs. No more labels.

With replication (1000 minimum), your art is printed directly onto the disc face using four-color process silk-screening or offset printing methods. This allows for high volume printing, press adjustments, PMS colors, etc.

Media Packaging

We print in-house the multi-media packaging needed for DVD, CD Jewel cases and many of the most popular printed cardboard sleeves & mailers. We have not listed all of the various packaging options available to you on our website. If you do not see something you need in the way of printed cardboard sleeves & self mailers, multiple disc sleeves & cases, plastic library cases, , or to need bid on an existing design, please let us know. We have many other dies already available and are able to custom designed something for you.
